The Sony FX6 Z-Finder Recoil Rig with Dual Trigger Grips is a shoulder rig designed specifically for the Sony FX6 camera. This Next Generation Recoil rig provides optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or used on a tripod. Because cameras and lenses are often similar in weight, the ideal balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. For shoulder-mounted setups, this balance point must sit directly over the shoulder, placing the camera farther back. The Recoil design shifts monitoring, focus, and camera controls forward, resulting in a lighter, shorter, and perfectly balanced rig.

The Sony FX6 Z-Finder Recoil rig includes the VCT Pro baseplate, Rosette Trigger Grip for relocating the Sony FX6 handgrip, a 13.5" LANC extension cable, the FX6 Top Plate, Sony FX6 Handle Mount, and the FX6 Z-Finder with LCD Axis Adapter, Axis Micro, and Fluid Rosette.

  • VCT Pro Baseplate: Sliding top plate for fast lens changes or quick camera removal, built-in curved shoulder pad, V-wedge tripod connector (¼-20 and 3/8-16 options), removable 6.5” iris rods, rows of ¼-20 mounting points, rear quick-release 15mm rod ports, and a recessed rod mount for maximum accessory clearance.

  • Dual Sony Trigger Grips: Relocates the Sony FX6 handgrip into an ergonomic shoulder-rig position. Features single-hand 360° rotation via a trigger mechanism, independent handle rotation, adjustable length via red lever extension, and multiple orientation modes including low, Aaton-style, upright, and staggered configurations.

  • FX6 Top Plate: Designed to fit around the Sony FX6 top handle. Includes two removable 15mm rod clamps, Z-Rail, and multiple ¼-20 mounting points along the sides and top surface.

  • FX6 Z-Finder System: Includes the flip-up Z-Finder designed to mount directly onto the FX6 LCD, Sony handle locking mount, LCD Axis Adapter, Axis Micro arm, and Fluid Rosette for smooth adjustment.
